Mr. Semiu Adeyemi Adeniran serves as the Statistician-General of the Federation and Chief Executive Officer of the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in Nigeria, appointed in May 2022.

Since 1948, our institution has been at the forefront of statistical education, beginning as a training unit within the Federal Office of Statistics and evolving into a comprehensive center of academic excellence.
📚 Academic Evolution
- 1971: Became a fully-fledged school with two-year certificate programs.
- 2013/2014: Introduced Computer Science and Business Administration
- 2018/2019: Launched Accountancy ND and HND programs
