This institution traces its origins back to 1948 when it was established as a training unit within the Federal Office of Statistics, aimed at providing refresher courses. Over time, it evolved into a comprehensive training center, expanding its reach to other ministries and states by 1961. By 1971, it had transitioned into a fully-fledged school, offering a two-year program leading to a certificate in middle-level statistical officer training.
In response to changing educational needs and demands, the institution introduced additional programs. In the academic session of 2013/2014, it began offering programs in Computer Science and Business Administration and Management. Subsequently, in the 2018/2019 academic session, the Department of Accountancy commenced offering a National Diploma program. Furthermore, during the same academic session, a Higher National Diploma (DPP) program in Accountancy was also introduced. Presently, the institution administers both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programs in Statistics, Computer Science, and Business Administration and Management. Read More
